What an adviser does in SchoolAide Lite
You own the section: its learner list, its subjects, and its report cards. Subject teachers encode scores in their own gradebooks; you see every subject's progress and release the term.
Step by step
- Create the class. My classes → New class. Pick your school, the school year, and the grading periods your school runs (three terms under the MATATAG calendar, four quarters, or two semesters).
- Grade and section. The grading mode is resolved for you — Grade 1 is descriptive from SY 2026–2027, Grade 2 from 2027–2028, Grade 3 from 2028–2029. Untick subjects your section does not take.
- Paste the roster. Select the names in Excel or your E-Class Record and paste. We show how every name was split before anything is saved. LRN is optional. Learners without an email get printed cards.
- Share the class code. It is on the class card and in Subjects. A teacher who joins with it gets the roster already typed — no duplicate encoding.
If a teacher signed up before you
Teachers who started a standalone gradebook for your section show up under Needs a decision on your overview. Linking merges only the learner list; their activities and scores stay untouched.
