Open Explain this grade on the learner's Term Grade. It shows every number: each activity, each component's percentage and weighted score, the Initial Grade, the table, the Term Grade. Compare it line by line with your ECR.
The usual reasons
- A blank versus a zero. An empty cell in SchoolAide Lite is not recorded and leaves the total. Your ECR may be treating the same blank as 0. Type 0 if the learner really scored nothing; mark it excused if they were excused.
- Rounding along the way. The engine rounds once, at the end. A spreadsheet that rounds each percentage to two decimals can land one point away.
- The Examinations composite. ST1 30%, ST2 30%, TE 40% are combined before the 30% Examinations weight. Many hand computations skip this.
- A different transmutation table. Grading rules shows which table the class uses and cites its DepEd order. A custom table is labelled on every report card.
If the explanation and your ECR still disagree, message us on Facebook with your support reference and the class code. Do not edit a fixture to match a spreadsheet — the order is the authority.
