What we send you
- Codes: the six digits that prove a mailbox, at sign-up and whenever you add a school email.
- A password reset link, only when you ask for one.
- A verification decision: approved, not approved with the reason, or a request for one more thing.
- Something needs you: a learner asking to join your class, a link request from a subject teacher, an invitation to teach a subject.
- Inactivity warnings, four of them, before an account is archived and again before it is deleted.
Mail to learners and guardians — report card links, guardian consent — is sent only when you release, and only once your account is verified.
View in browser
Every mail carries a View in browser link in its footer. Use it when the layout arrives broken, when images are blocked, or when your phone mangles it. The copy is kept for 30 days; after that the link says so plainly instead of showing a stale page.
The exception is anything carrying a secret. Your sign-up code and your password reset link have no browser copy, on purpose — a web page that shows a live code to whoever holds the URL is not a convenience worth having.
If nothing arrives
- Check spam, and any Promotions tab.
- Confirm the address. A code goes to the address you typed, not to the one you signed in with.
- Codes last ten minutes and a resend replaces the old one, so always use the newest mail.
- Still nothing after a few minutes: message us on the Facebook page with your support reference.
Keep the address reachable
Everything that can unstick you — a code, a reset link, an inactivity warning — arrives at the address you registered with, and Settings cannot change that address. If you are about to lose a school mailbox you signed up with, message us on the Facebook page with your support reference before you lose it, not after.
