What each pre-flight blocker means

Every finding the Before you release panel can raise, its cause, and the page that clears it.

One answer, with what teachers ask next on the same screen underneath it.

  • Say whether it helped at the bottom of the article. That is the only way we learn it is wrong.
  • Anything in a green box is what the DepEd order says; anything in amber is where teachers get caught.

Each finding carries a jump link to the page that fixes it. Blockers stop the release; warnings can be acknowledged and passed.

Blockers

  • "No learners on the roster." Nobody to release a card to. Paste your class list on the Learners page.
  • "No subjects yet." A report card needs at least one learning area. Add them on Subjects.
  • "Mathematics: no activities in Term 1." Nothing has been encoded for that subject this period. Open the class record and add the term's activities.
  • "Mathematics: Written/Oral Works has no activities." That component carries a share of the term grade, so no grade can be computed until it holds at least one activity. Add it on the Activities page.
  • "Mathematics: 12 missing scores." A missing score is not a zero. Encode it, or mark it excused. Leaving it empty means the learner has no term grade and the card prints a dash.
  • "Mathematics: grades are still recomputing." An edit landed a moment ago and the engine has not caught up. Wait, then reload Release.
  • "Filipino: 4 learners have no descriptor." Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes only. Every learner needs a descriptor and a narrative for the Learner's Progress Report.

Warnings

  • "Dela Cruz, Princess Nicole has no scores in any subject." Enrolled but never encoded — often a learner who transferred in late, or a name that was missed during encoding. Check the roster, then either encode or remove them.
  • "3 over the 20% absence threshold." DepEd Order 15, s. 2026 fails the learning area unless the absences are justified. Review attendance before you release, or acknowledge and carry on.

What if the panel never goes clear

A blocker on a subject someone else teaches is theirs to clear — the jump link opens their class record, but only the subject's teacher or a co-teacher can encode in it. The adviser's overview shows whose subject is still short. If a missing score belongs to a learner who has genuinely no work to submit, mark it excused rather than zero: excused leaves both totals alone, a zero counts against them.
