A released card is a snapshot. Correcting the score does not change a PDF someone already holds, so the fix has three steps and they go in this order.
1. Correct the score
Open the subject's class record and fix the cell. The term grade recomputes on its own within a couple of seconds. Before going further, open Explain this grade on that learner and read it line by line — the activity, each component's percentage and weighted score, the Initial Grade, the table, the Term Grade. Make sure the number you now expect is the number shown.
2. Take the release back
Class → Release cards → Take back the release. Write a reason if you want one; it is shown to you only. Press Take it back.
Emailed links stop working immediately. A card already downloaded or printed still exists — but anyone who checks its reference code on the verification page now sees it marked as revoked or superseded, rather than current.
3. Release again
The pre-flight check runs again, and the new release is the next revision. Every card says which revision it is, so a parent holding two cards can tell which one stands.
What to do about the paper
If the wrong card was printed and handed over, hand over the new one and say the earlier card was withdrawn. Reprint just that learner with Reprint on their row, or Print the whole class for a full set.
If the grade still looks wrong after recomputing
Do not edit around it. Read Explain this grade against your own computation, and check the four usual causes: a blank treated as a zero, rounding along the way, the Examinations composite, and which transmutation table the class uses. If they still disagree, message us with your support reference and the class code.
