How to do it
- Class settings → End of the school year → Roll over to SY 2027–2028 (whichever year follows this one).
- Type the New section name. Most sections keep theirs.
- Press Roll over and confirm.
- You land on the new class's Learners page. Edit it for whoever left and whoever arrived.
What comes across
The active learners with their details, the subjects, the school, and the same grading periods. Learners marked transferred out are not copied.
What does not
Activities, scores, descriptors, observations, computed grades and report cards. The new class starts empty, and this class is not touched — it stays exactly as it is, releases included.
Grade level and subjects
The roster is promoted one grade level, capped at Grade 12. Subjects are re-created from the DepEd catalogue for the new grade level, so a subject that does not exist there is left out; Grades 11 and 12 keep the subject names you typed. Grading rules are resolved fresh for the new school year and grade — a class rolling into SY 2027–2028 picks up zero-based grading with no transmutation, and a Grade 1 descriptive class rolling into Grade 2 stays descriptive from that year.
If the roll over is refused
You will see: Your account is at its class limit. Archive or delete a class first, or verify your account. An unverified account holds one class, a verified account three. Archived classes do not count — archive the year you have just finished and roll over again. Verifying with a school email raises the limit at the same time.
